Chase Marshall worked with the Grosse Tete Volunteer Fire Department to secure the necessary funding for design and construction of its new station. This is the only fire station in the state of Louisiana to be funded with the Firefighters' Fire Station Construction Grant (SCG). This grant is part of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act; therefore, Chase Marshall followed the strict procurement guidelines that are set by the federal government.
