experIENCed designer

As an Experienced Designer, you will join our team in the coordination, management and execution of various projects and related systems technology. As a self-directed and independent member of our team, you will work closely with our senior design team through all phases of work, including collaboration and coordination with clients, consultants and relevant authorities. The successful candidate will be an open-minded team player and grow into an essential member and future leader of our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with our teams from initiation to completion of projects

  • Coordinating and assisting in the creation of drawings, diagrams, and 3D models

  • Working in Revit / Lumion on all project phases (concept design through CA)

  • Research projects and gain familiarity with building codes, building systems, construction detailing

Over time you will:

  • Receive mentoring and participate in peer-to-peer knowledge sharing as well as mentor junior designers/interns

  • Collaborate on design teams to deliver creative, sustainable, and impactful projects

  • Engage in professional development and training that lead towards licensure or project leadership opportunities

  • Contribute energy, ideas, and expertise that help the firm grow and evolve

Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of professional work experience

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited program

  • Understanding of building systems and technology 

  • An ambition for embracing creativity and innovation across all areas of integrated design

  • Strong technical, graphic, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit prefered

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite

  • Excellent team player that is professional, innovative, articulate, respectful, supportive, and kind
